“Do it more often Dude! ”
Beautiful women, books, and Sethi sahib : Do they ever converge? Well going by yours truly trip at World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan this Saturday , what I concluded was that possibility of finding a beautiful woman, a good book and Sethi sahib together at one place is as remote as discovering beautiful anchor ,intelligent news, and Hindi news channel on TV together.
Here are the respective statistical probabilities collected after diligent research by your truly.
Beautiful women and good books ….. 10 % (This one goes to the sales girl at Borders book store in Pune …. Ah I still remember how she convinced me to buy coffee table book of Himesh Bhais photographs lol)
Beautiful women and Sethi Sahib ….. 0% (I know even dumbest guy on planet after arjun singh would be laughing his ass off hearing this question )
Sethi Sahib and good books….. ……..100 % ( I love my books …Here is a big geeli wali kissi to each of them for being with me in all these 27 plus years of nonsensical existence of Sethi Sahib. )
Now let us look at the TV stats
Beautiful Anchor and Hindi news channels….0% (If you consider Rajat Sharma and his well oiled hairs to be the next big thing after John Abraham in modeling world, you may differ with the stats presented. Disclaimer : There is a possibility of confusion if you consider facial expression of both of them as your cpmarative benchmarks ( Oh how i love jargon ) … They both stare at you flat on your TV screens ..lol)
Intelligent News and Hindi News channel ……. 0% ( I may not be sure about Karan Johars gayish orientations but I am pretty much sure that programming like “Zinda hain Ravan” , “Khali ne machaiyee khal bali” , “Teen deviayan” are not what we consider as Intelligent news by any mathemetical angle.
Beautiful Anchor and intelligent news….. 0% (Never seen that after Salma Sutan , her beautiful saris and a rose in her open hairs, reading out crisp 30 minute , 8 30 PM DD news. Oh how bad i miss her :))
If you are still reading and have not skipped the crapppy stats above , I am convinced you are one of those freaky guys, with whom I studied in my 10th standard maths tuition classes whose only purpose of existence on mother earth was to cram and practice every question mentioned in R S Aggarwarl and Manjith singh’s reference books. :)
And even if you were not the part of Manjith RS agarwal fan club , I must share with you that it was a perfect day after along time.
Wonderful winter morning of Delhi . Warm sun shine , vast and beautiful Pragati Maidan ,12 huge halls full of books from every part of the world and intelligent & sensible crowd. And if you top this up with savoring hot chana bhatura and a cup of strong coffee sitting on the stairs of open air auditorium and browsing through the 15 something’s freshly bought books and a smooth ride back home in non crowded metro, I would just like to say thanks to the big guy above for taking a day out for me and if he permits I may suggest to him “Do it more often Dude! ” :)
Self Introspection : I know My posts are getting pathetic with passing day. With no source of inspiartion of any kind these days ;-) its just a desperate attempt to survive on blogosphere.

Talking about 'Beautiful Anchors and intelligent news':
I used to like Anjali Rai too (if you remember, she contested and won from some constituency in Delhi too).
Talking about 'Handsome Anchors and intelligent news':
Rajdeep Sardesai !! ( Did I just sprung from my seat!?) I love those grey streaks ;-)
Also, Udayan Mukherjee is not really handsome as such but his whole persona (read talks and sarcasms) make him sexy!! Vikram Chandra is not too bad either....
Coming back to 'Beautiful Anchors and intelligent news':
How could you (being a guy!)forget Shereen Bhan!!!!
Agreed on Shereen.....
ek sher arz hain unpe ghalib sahib ka
Kitne shereen ( sweet) hain tere lab , ki galliyaan kha ke bhi moonh bemaza na hua :)
So whatever she says is music :)
About Anjali Rai, If i remember correctly she stood in elections from saadi west dilli da moti bagh area and perhaps thats why Sethi sahib lost her track :)
And thanks for an important input for my ongoing researach work of last 27 years tittled "what women want" .. i am including "Grey Hairs" to the ever expanding list ......hahaha
