Bhains ki Poonch !

Hi! Its been quiet a time since my last long post and the reason for delay was that, this post was supposed to be my 50th post ( yessss , please stand and give a big round of applause for this nut head ) and I was waiting for the right story, the right idea for celebrating the golden moments and come out all bright and shining as the female contestants on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. No matter, whether they can sing or not but any damn idiot can see them flashing on the Television tubes from kms afar. I still don’t know where do they get those dhink chak chamkile dresses which make them look like Diwali time shrink wrapped Cadbury gift boxes.

Finally, I realized that you wait for perfect women , it never happens ,you wait for perfect work , it never happens , you wait for perfect boss , it never happens so why the hell should I repeat these mistakes for my post too. So here is Sethi Sahib once again trying to eat out your brains with another piece of loose talk from his wizened face.

Lot of things have happened in my life off late. I crossed 27 , India celebrated 60th independence, bought the costliest Vaio and only use I could figure out was chatting and reading times of India’s most read articles , the fire alarm outside my bedroom started ringing every morning with no signs of fire what so ever for paranormal reasons beyond my comprehension, SRK proved his point once again with chak de, and UPA, BJP and left fought over US nuke deal for a conclusion that everyone knows ,but the amazing part Is life is taking its own course as if totally unaffected by what is going on . Just like Tushar kapoor who acts in his own freaking way in movies like good boy bad boy irrespective of what is going around in the world.

Reflecting upon the last two years and these 50 something posts , I can just say each passing year adds up something in your life and subtracts something out of it, so that the sum of all parts remain constant. You make way for maturity, you let the innocence out. You kind of find peace with figuring out women, you let the fun of finding a dead end out, you got to know the nitty gritty of your work place, you let that creativity out. It’s like you see a Emran Hashmi movie and you let the will of buying a ticket again for his nonsensical movies out

I don’t know what would be there in my next 50 posts but one thing that I know for sure is that these would be another 50 hopeless attempts of a 27+ year old chap trying to figure out the world around him. :-)

PS : In movie Chak De India a dialogue goes like – “Mari bhains ki poonch marodne ka kya fayda” , a profound thought , but then I realized agar zinda bhains bhi hain to uski bhi ponch marod ke kya fayda hoga ..its anyways disgusting to touch a bhains ki poonch … lol … think about it and have a great weekend!
