Viraniyaan
Ended up watching Namaste London …. Once again :)
Don’t know why I love this movie. Have seen it umpteen times and every time I see it , I still feel like watching it again.
May be its Katrina who looks absolutely beautiful yet mysterious, arrogant yet vulnerable , forceful yet silent, just like late nights which I have always find so enchanting. Take it from Sethi Sahib, she’s gonna be the next umero uno in case she continues like this. After very long time I find someone taking over Kajol from my list of only actress I have always admired.
Or may be its Akshay’s innocence and silent & letting go kind of love to woo back her girl. If after SRK , someone tops my list it has to be Akshay . Punjabi humour, verbosity and to hell with world attitude personified to the core
Or is It the dialogues which goes like “ पंजाबी में भी हूँ , इश्क़ की कद्र मैं भी करता हूँ, मगर इश्क़ में कोई शर्ते नहीं होती ”
And the best one which goes like
“ इश्क दी मित्रा पहचान कि ? ( pyar ki hain dost pechan kya?)
जदौन मिट जावे ज़िद अप्नोन दी " ( Jab mit jaye zid apnane ki?)
For helping non Punju readers of my blog
“How do you identify true love my friend?
Well you know its true love, when you know, you can let it go”
Seems like Sethi Sahib is on dope while writing this post at 2 o Clock in the night but I guess you go on a high if the only sound you hear well past midnight, when the whole world is asleep, is Himesh's nasal voice singing
Zindagi mein hain tum bin yeh Viraniyaan … yeh Viraniyaan …. yeh Virraniyaann
