That road we walked!
Last night, I was present on that road again
Where we met and walked miles afar
Years before when it all begin
You wrapped in your orange dress,
Those big black eyes, looking at me
And that first drizzle of monsoon rain
As always, I was a step behind
Your hurried steps, mesmerized me
As we crossed our usual lanes
My mindless banter ,your smiling face
The rickety fountain at the roundabout
Stood tall, flowing, just as same.
We reach the same crossroad near the bridge.
As you part once more today
Alone I think ,Shall we ever meet again?
Last night, I was present on that road again
Where we met and walked miles afar
Years before when it all begin
You wrapped in your orange dress,
Those big black eyes, looking at me
And that first drizzle of monsoon rain
As always, I was a step behind

Alone I think ,Shall we ever meet again?
