Mann Saat Samundar Dol Gaya

Just finsihed watching Chameli.

Yessssss! sounds eccentric , sat night , when the whole of Chicago has gone clubbin ,the only thing this dumb head does at beautiful saturday night is to sit at home and watch a movie on Zee based on high class lookin whore, forcefully made to act like someone from Budhawr Peth in Pune and a Bengali guy Rahul Bose made to act like Punjabi stud and that too someone who is an investment consultant.

Now both these situations have deep inherent flaws, big architectural bugs that we geeks call them. First, despite over painting Kareena in all those whore colors she would always look like someone who would be first to screw some one up instead of someone else doing it to her and second, Rahul Bose despite all his acting prowess can never look and act like a Punjabi . Come on man Punjabis can never act restrained, they are born with a big diarrheic mouth.

And moreover , investment consulting can never be a Punju cup of tea. They are the first ones to burn their money off. And if you are consulting a Punju for managing your money, rest be assured after having a real good time having platefull of chicken tikkas and umpteen bottles of bears, you both would walk off with empty bank balances.

But this post is not about the chracterization Kareena and Rahul. In fact, I kinnda like that movie. Perfect movie to watch when u r all alone and have nothing else to do. The whole movie is based on one rainy night where an intellectual Punju guy ( a fallacy at first hand) accidentally meets a fair looking well fed whore on an emptied street ( a fallacy of even greater kind, I can bet all my 31 passing marks in advanced compilers, if u can show me someone well fed and good looking like her acting slutty and cheap on Indian streets).
But instead, this post is about something which made me relate to this movie apart from the other correlating facts like it was also raining outside here and I too was all alone, just like that guy in the movie. Well, I describe that below.

After various ups and down at the end of the story Rahul finally walks off with something that Chameli teaches him that night. Something that I feel made the movie worth watching for and something that I must share with you all. She says.

“Sahib life aisi hain , to aisi hi hain . Bas pyaar hona chaiye”

Think about it and have fun and I go and listen to this song

“Mann saat samundar dol gaya , tere pyaar mein yeh dil bol gaya, le teri ho gayee yaar , Sajna ve Sajna , Oh Sajna mere yaar , Sajna ve Sajna”
